Managed services provider Australian Centre for Advanced Computing and Communication (AC3) has been awarded a $64.9 million contract for core IT infrastructure services for the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
The IT infrastructure services will be primarily hosted from the NSW Government Data Centre through shared and private cloud arrangements.
“Services include storage, backup and recovery, network and Internet services,” said a DCJ spokesperson.
“AC3 also provides hosting and computing for key applications such as JusticeLink, the Cisco Meeting Service for Audio Visual Link, the Offender Integrated Management System, Citrix Remote Access services and DCJ’s Electronic Records Document Management System.
“The contract was extended for three years to 2027 to maintain services as DCJ continues its work to review and modernise IT systems, in line with our IT strategy.”
In November 2024, Infrastructure NSW renewed its MSP contract with AC3.
Earlier in the year, AC3 was named as one of seven suppliers on a cybersecurity state purchase contract by the Victorian government.
In December, the company acquired IT solutions provider JDS Australia.
