Tenders: Infrastructure NSW renews MSP contract with AC3

State government advisory provider Infrastructure New South Wales said it has renewed a contract with the Australian Centre for Advanced Computing and Communication (AC3).

AC3 will provide managed services for all Infrastructure NSW core technology needs, a spokesperson for the agency said.

Pass through Microsoft Azure services will also be provided by AC3.

The contract extension is for three further years, the spokesperson said, following AC3's original four-year appointment to provide IT services for the agency.

Infrastructure NSW will pay $8.3 million including goods and services tax to AC3 for services rendered under the contract renewal.

Simon Xistouris, chief executive of of AC3, said his company is very pleased to continue its work with Infrastructure NSW.

"AC3 is a leading secure cloud provider to NSW government and we are proud to continue to play a role in Infrastructure NSW's technology journey," Xistouris said.

The company is on the NSW government cloud panel since 2022, and in the same year, won a contract extension for Service NSW to provide infrastructure-as-a-service to the tune of $10.9 million.

AC3 was also a finalist in the 2024 CRN Impact Awards, in the Trusted Systems partner category.
