Workday has been accepted into the Australian Federal Government's Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) Software Marketplace, the enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources provider said.
The company's inclused in the newly established Category 3 for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products and service solutions.
DTA is seeking to enhance ERP modernisation across non-corporate Commonwealth entities, providing governmental bodies with greater autonomy and choice in updating their systems.
Workday's suite of applications, which include its Financial Management, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Adaptive Planning, is now available to all Australian federal, state, and territory government agencies through the Software Marketplace.
"By replacing outdated legacy systems, the Australian public service can help streamline processes, boost productivity, and attract top talent," Paul Leahy, regional director of public sector for Workday Australia and New Zealand, said.
Workday's acceptance to the marketplace comes with the renewal of its Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment.
This allows Australian public service organisations to store workloads up to PROTECTED level on Workday's suite of products hosted in Amazon Web Services Cloud Australia.
Workday counts public service customers such as Public Trust in New Zealand and various UK government entities for its offerings.
