APAC data and AI consultancy V2 AI has appointed Ian Nguyen as AI and security partner. 

Nguyen’s expertise spans cyber strategy, critical infrastructure uplift, enterprise risk reduction, and delivery of multi-million-dollar modernisation programs aligned to regulatory, board and customer expectations.

Based in Sydney, Nguyen most recently served as head of critical Iifrastructure security portfolio at Transgrid, where he established and led the organisation’s critical information security uplift.

He has also been a director at Deloitte, acting as a cyber transformation delivery SME across the financial services and energy sectors, as well as spending more than four years at Westpac in senior technology and cyber roles and over six years at PwC, specialising in program management, IT audit, business resilience and program assurance across state and federal government agencies, energy, utilities and aviation.

V2 AI founder and CEO, Craig Howe, said that Nguyen’s experience in secure, large-scale AI implementation and technology transformation will be a major asset to clients.
