US-based iPod and MP3 accessory provider Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) has appointed iWorld Australia as its exclusive distributor across Australia and New Zealand.
DLO designs digital electronics devices, speaker systems, car solutions, cases and clips and cables for iPod. DLO is also launching other MP3 player offerings for lines such as Creative Zen, SanDisk SanSa, and Microsoft Zune.
iWorld Australia will take the place of DLO’s former distributor in the region, Powermove Distribution, which will cease to be a DLO distributor with immediate effect.
Jeff Grady, founder and chief executive officer of DLO, said entering the Australian market is part of the firm’s core strategy in making its products accessible globally.
“We believe that iWorld Australia will be a solid partner in distributing our products and as a launch pad for future developments in the region,” said Grady.
Chad DeClase, managing director of iWorld Australia, said: “We’re proud to work in conjunction with DLO, one of the world’s leaders in digital lifestyle products. DLO is a truly innovative brand with a bold vision. We’re confident this partnership is a major step in the right direction for both brands.”
