Teradata awarded $24m contract by ATO

The Australian arm of Teradata, a relational database management system provider, has been awarded a contract worth $24.2 million by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

"The contract with Teradata is for the continued use of database and analytics software that supports the ATO," an ATO spokesperson told techpartner.news.

The contract runs through until 29 June 2029, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

Teradata declined to provide comment to techpartner.news about the details of the contract.

Teradata's services were procured via a limited tender; an ATO spokesperson said that "the ATO undertakes all procurement processes in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules".
