Tech Data has added Elastic to its distributor portfolio, covering Australia and New Zealand, to provide solutions for search, observability and security. This includes the Elastic Search AI Platform.
The TD Synnex company will offer comprehensive support to partners, utilising Elastic's technical expertise, individually tailored solutions and training services. The company's Centre of Excellence will play a pivotal role in accelerating go-to-market strategies, Tech Data said.
Elastic's Search AI Platform merges, as the name implies, search with AI. It uses a cloud-native architecture that's optimised for retrieval augmented generation or RAG to improve on AI queries.
Tech Data said the Elastic solution offers several benefits, including accelerating the deployment of new experiences to the market, and enables comprehensive searches through large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract valuable insights.
Furthermore, Elastic's search heritage means its solutions provide fast, contextual observability across a wide range of data sources. This enhances operational efficiency, reduces costs and unifies insights for accelerated resolution.
AI-driven security analytics that protect against and investigate threats, and responds to them, is also powered by the the Elastic Search AI platform.
