Solutions provider Tecala has appointed Mark Hood as the new general manager of sales and marketing.
Hood will be based in Sydney and be responsible for leading the growth of Tecala’s cloud and infrastructure services business for both private and public sector organisations.

The new sales and marketing general manager will also be responsible for managing Tecala’s brand awareness, supporting vendor partner and alliance marketing and working with the company’s sales teams across the country.
Hood has more than 20 years' experience in IT and specialises in business development strategy. He has held positions previously with AAPT, Austar, Chello Boradband, Chubb Security and Mobiletronics.
As the CEO of Mobiletronics, a Vodafone business channel partner, Hood helped the startup grow to a national organisation. Prior to that, he was sales director for AAPT where he managed the organisation’s outbound phone sales channel.
Tecala is a Sydney-headquartered solutions provider with branches in western Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Wilmington, USA.
