Tecala has been awarded the Microsoft Solutions Partner Designation for Security.

Microsoft awards this designation only to partners that can demonstrate advanced technical competence, repeatable best practices, and measurable success in deploying Microsoft security solutions. Tecala’s accreditation follows rigorous audit processes assessing identity and access management, threat detection, security operations, endpoint management, and cloud security.

Tecala has also completed its latest ISO 27001 surveillance audit, achieving an expanded certification scope. The new certification now covers 'IT Managed & Integration Services, provided on Public and Private Cloud' and, for the first time, wholly incorporates Tecala’s Automation, Data and AI (ADA) division.

This inclusion is a major milestone for Tecala as it means that the ADA team’s entire secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) has been independently assessed and externally certified.

The audit validated not only the modern continuous integration and delivery processes the ADA division utilises but also the evidence demonstrating all processes are embedded in daily operations.

For customers, the new certification means that their Tecala solutions are secure-by-design AI adhering to ISO 27001:2022 controls and ensuring data protection, governance, and risk management are applied from design through deployment.

Ben Leggo, COO of Tecala, said by strengthening the company's Microsoft security capability and expanding ISO 27001 certification across the business, Tecala is ensuring every solution delivered is grounded as a core organisational discipline in resilience, governance, and operational excellence.

“Tecala's security designation gives customers enhanced access to Microsoft innovations, enriched threat intelligence feeds, and escalated support pathways that accelerate outcomes," he said.

“As AI agents, automation workflows, and data-driven platforms become core to business operations, having ISO-certified processes reduces organisational risk.  At the same time, with ADA now integrated into the certification, customers benefit from a unified assurance framework spanning cloud platforms, managed services, integration projects, and software development activities.”
