Global application developer Progress has appointed Trevor Rogers as its director of partner and alliance for Australia and New Zealand.
Rogers will focus on growing Progress' local channel and partner network, and will report to managing director Craig Law.
Law said the appointment was a "great coup" for Progress as it looks to expand its presence in Australia. "Trevor’s passion and reputation as a partner evangelist precedes him. Progress will benefit from his proven success in all aspects of driving a successful partner ecosystem, from strategic alliances including local, global and regional SI partners, through to solution providers, service providers, resellers, distributors and ISV partners."
Rogers brings 30 years of experience in channel sales to the role. He was most recently partner director for CA Technologies for four years. He also spent two years as national channel and alliance manager for Oracle, 11 years at Hewlett-Packard, most recently as software channel and alliance manager.
"Partners are an integral component to the future growth and success of Progress as we enable companies to transform their businesses, and I will work collaboratively with them to engage their unique capabilities and skillsets to ensure a consistent business model that delivers a common ground of mutual success," said Rogers.
Progress was founded in 1981 in the US and has 942 employees worldwide. It specialises in app development for digital transformation.
