Sage's SalesLogix CRM product would be integrated with CPS Technology's phone and call centre system software, TeleVantage, as a result of an agreement between the companies.
The companies would target local SMEs with a combined telephony and CRM solution.
Roslyn Muir, Sage CRM's regional partner manager said an integrated communications and CRM system is the key in providing first rate customer service.
The alliance also adds value for the Sage CRM channel. Partners can now offer customers an end-to-end communications solution.
"This will certainly increase our resellers' revenue potential. The interface is fully integrated and can only be sold through Sage CRM’s sold through our channels.
"Previously we had one or two partners who were able to use TeleVantage. Now we are opening it up to all our resellers. They will have the ability to incorporate a complete solution for their customers”.
TeleVantage is an open system IP-PBX running on Intel-based hardware which allows business to mix and match VoIP and PSTN telephony in the one system.
