Attendees donned furry ice suits and got up close and personal with the tiny computer. In temperatures of minus 15, the computer kept on ticking, and the drinks kept on flowing.
Two young Aussie adventurers, Chris Bray and Clark Carter, will take an Eee PC on their trek across Victoria Island. The Eee PC will be connected to a satellite and will let the pair stay in contact with the world.
The portable PC arrived in Australia in December last year and has already changed the face of portable computing.
