Perth video analytics firm icetana AI gets Americas distie deal

Video analytics company icetana AI, headquartered in Perth, will enter the markets in North, Central and South America through a distribution deal with California-based Macnica.

The ASX-listed software-as-a-service company provides video analytics with artificial intelligence and machine learning, to identify abnormal events and unexpected behaviour in real time, for large scale surveillance networks.

icetana's solutions integrate with video management solutions such as Milestone and Genetec, and is compatible with most camera systems.

The platform supports licence plate and facial recognition products, and will soon get a GPT-powered enhancement that allows users to locate specific events, by typing in descriptive keywords.

A single operator can monitor up to 500 cameras, without relying on invasive technology or violating privacy.

“We are teamed up with Macnica not only because of their commitment to providing their customers with state-of-the-art solutions,” Kevin Brown, chief executive of icetana AI said.

He added that Macnica also prioritises customer care from the initial sales process through installation and beyond, offering superior technical support every step of the way.
