Agentic systems platform OutSystems has announced an expanded collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), integrating three AWS services into its platform to help enterprises build and govern agentic systems.
The company said the work targets three obstacles to enterprise AI: fragmentation across AI models, technical debt in legacy systems, and governance of AI-native development.
Legacy Modernization Services, powered by AWS Transform, uses AI-accelerated tooling to translate ageing platforms such as COBOL and Lotus Notes into modern systems running on OutSystems.
A native integration with Kiro, AWS’ agentic development environment, lets developers work in their preferred coding environment while building on OutSystems, which becomes available as a “Kiro Power” for orchestrating the development lifecycle.
Agentic Enterprise Orchestration and Agentic Solutions, both powered by Amazon Bedrock, let enterprises route agentic workloads to whichever AI model is most cost-effective or highest-performing for the task.
Availability varies across the suite. The Bedrock-powered orchestration capabilities are generally available to existing customers now, but the Legacy Modernization Services are in preview for selected customers only, with expanded AWS Transform integration due in the third quarter.
The Kiro integration is in private preview for selected customers, with an Agentic Banking Solution for loan origination also slated for early in the third quarter.
“The shift toward agentic systems is the most significant architectural evolution of our lifetime,” said Woodson Martin, CEO of OutSystems.
"By collaborating with AWS, we are removing the friction between an organization's legacy past and its agentic future. We aren't just helping customers build faster; we are providing the foundation to architect an entirely new generation of governed business systems.”
