ASX-listed Excite Technology Services has been awarded a $2.9 million contract by an unnamed federal government regulator to supply digital forensics and investigative analytics software and associated services.
The 24-month contract, running to September 2028, will be delivered through Excite's wholly owned subsidiary CBIT Pty Ltd.
The agreement was entered into on standard Australian Federal Government terms, which include the regulator's right to terminate or vary the scope and volume of goods and services at its discretion.
Excite said it has not disclosed the identity of the regulator due to the sensitive nature of the engagement, and considers the announcement contains all material information relevant to the contract.
"Being selected as the vendor of choice is a powerful vote of confidence in our people and our technology," said Bryan Saba, chief executive and managing director at Excite Technology Services.
"When digital evidence is at stake, agencies need a partner they can rely on completely, and this award shows the trust that Australian Government customers place in Excite's digital forensics capability."
Last month, Excite secured a $3.2 million expansion of an existing contract with an unnamed Australian federal government agency, covering the supply of specialised technology, software and associated training over a further 24 months.
