NZ IT consultancy Equinox IT has announced a change to its leadership and consulting structure, establishing two new roles – chief client officer and Auckland consulting manager.

David Reiss has chosen to become chief client officer following more than six years as the company's co-CEO.

Grant Simpson has been appointed Auckland consulting manager and is responsible for delivering services to key Auckland and global clients.

Paul Ramsay has stepped in as acting co-CEO during the transition, supporting Deane Sloan, who continues as co-CEO and remains based in Wellington.

"We know that we need even more focus on our clients, as we rapidly evolve our services and the way we do business, to help our clients achieve real, tangible results," said Reiss.

"In my new role, I’m committed to helping our clients access the right expertise more quickly, benefit from services tailored to their needs, and work with a partner that combines real technical depth with a practical, people-first approach."
