Nextgen has added IT infrastructure monitoring vendor Paessler as its newest vendor, signing up to become the sole distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
Paessler’s flagship product is the PRTG Network Monitor, which is designed to help system administrators monitor the systems, devices, traffic and applications of a company’s IT infrastructure.
“We are looking forward to expanding our reach in the ANZ market with Nextgen,” Paessler director of sales operations for APAC George Wilson said.
“The way they bring added value really stands out, by proactively seeking and facilitating opportunities that bring us together with partners out in the marketplace. This will allow us to bring our solutions to more businesses across the ANZ region and grow our footprint in the local market."
Nextgen chief executive John Walters said Paessler’s offering complements the distributor’s other vendors in the data management space due to PRTG’s scalability and user-friendliness.
“Paessler’s solutions offer simple, cost effective monitoring for the entire IT infrastructure, with a strong focus towards IoT so it can also monitor anything that is network connected, like medical equipment for example,” Walters said.
“New agreements like this contribute to what we call “Distribution Reinvented” and it depends on strategic partnerships with leading technology partners such as Paessler to honour this value.”
