Netskope has released NewEdge AI Fast Path, a product that aims to help optimise network paths to cloud-hosted artificial intelligence applications.
The company claims the product can reduce latency and cost while improving performance and resilience for organisations using AI applications and agentic AI.
The technology can also reduce 'time to first token' for conversational AI, accelerate multi-step agentic workflows, improve performance when large language models access distributed data, and speed up retrieval-augmented generation connections between models and external data sources, according to Netskope.
Netskope chief platform officer Joe DePalo said that any trade-off between security and performance is unacceptable and unnecessary.
“Netskope is recognised as a market leader for how we combine security strengths with network performance at the level of, and in some cases even improved over, direct-to-net for virtually any user on the path," he said.
“That includes optimising the user experience for business-critical AI. We’re pleased to help customers meet their need for AI speed without adding unnecessary risks.”
Netskope said its Route Control technology makes tens of thousands of routing decisions each day based on telemetry and performance monitoring, selecting the fastest available path and rerouting traffic around congestion or connectivity issues.
This approach is intended to improve performance and continuity for business-critical AI traffic.
