CRN Impact Awards finalist Cevo has named cloud professional Mark Badenach as its new sales director, the Melburnian AWS Advanced consultancy announced.
The appointment of Badenach aims to bolster the company's growth across its professional services and managed services offerings.
Badenach brings over two decades of experience in sales, business development, and leadership within cloud professional services and modern managed services.
His previous roles include senior positions, most recently at cloud specialist Versent, and also Microsoft, IBM, and TasmaNet.
In his new role, Badenach will lead Cevo's sales team across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane.
He will focus on driving new customer growth in both professional services and Co-Ops, Cevo's managed services arm.
Additionally, Badenach will work on strengthening relationships with Cevo's primary partner, Amazon Web Services, and execute the Cevo Nexus go-to-market strategy.
Badenach said the role presents an opportunity to lead a team dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for Cevo's customers, and emphasised his commitment to guiding them towards achieving their digital transformation objectives.
The appointment aligns with Cevo's recent multi-million-dollar strategic collaboration agreement with AWS, announced in February 2024.
It underscores the company's dedication to accelerating cloud innovation for its clients, Cevo said.
Cevo is a finalist in the 2024 CRN Impact Awards, in the Partner Leadership, Business Transformation and the Modernising Infrastructure categories.
