Legora, a AI platform for legal professionals, is expanding its APAC regional operations with the appointment of Jessica Turner as its lead for New Zealand.
Turner will be responsible for managing partnerships and relationships across the country, working as part of the founding team behind Legora's Asia-Pacific and Japan launch alongside Heather Paterson, VP of Legora APJ.
Turner brings over a decade of leadership experience across Europe and Asia-Pacific, having previously held roles at SAP, Airtable, Highspot, and Sprinklr in Australia and London.
Legora will focus on helping New Zealand customers integrate legal AI across practice areas, deepen partnerships with law firms, and support the market's broader transition to AI-enhanced work.
Dentons, one of the world's largest law firms, has adopted Legora AI across its New Zealand team to streamline drafting, research and document review.
“New Zealand firms are well past the point of asking whether AI belongs in legal practice," said Turner.
"The market is ready and we’re here to help firms integrate AI into legal workflows. We're excited to build on the momentum we're already seeing locally."
"We're seeing extraordinary appetite for AI integration across major firms and are eager to help New Zealand organisations take advantage of powerful AI tools in their work," said Paterson.
Since May 2025, Legora’s customer base has grown from 250 to over 800 organisations, while the number of markets served has more than doubled from 20 to more than 50 globally.
