This introduction will offer resellers the ability to provide customers with a small business router that supports 3G USB modems from all major carriers.
ZyWALL 5-H allows users a wired network and extends the last-mile service wirelessly. The solution can also apply backup WAN and load balancing features to various applications, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity.
The router will also fall over to the 3G service enabling uninterrupted connectivity, if the DSL is disconnected.
Alternatively, load balancing can be undertaken across multiple broadband services connected to the 5-H, sharing the bandwidth load and reducing strain on network infrastructure. The ZyWALL also provides the added protection of gateway unified threat management and content filtering.
Mark Roberts, networking product manager, Lan 1 said the ZyWALL 5-H is priced at $410RRP and monthly 3G plans starting from just $29 including 1Gb of data.
“We see Australian small businesses provided with enterprise class features and reliability previously unheard of in the market,” he said.
