Distributor IPL Communications has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with CommSoft RMS, maker of software applications for telephone systems.
The partnership will see CommsOffice software used on Panasonic Business Telephone Systems distributed by IPL.
Paul Scanlan, general manager for IPL Communications, said the company conducted "extensive due diligence" before partnering with CommSoft.
"We're confident that they offer the Australian market the best software set for Panasonic Business Telephone Systems. We were particularly impressed with their support systems and international capabilities," he said.
Scanlan said this partnership builds a new revenue stream for resellers.
"There is the opportunity to add value to solutions with a product that integrates software through voice. We are seeing a strong demand for software from customers. Now is the time for resellers to act," he said.
IPL Communications will distribute six products from the CommsOffice Product Suite including CommsOffice Express, CommsOffice Professional, CommsOffice Enterprise, CommsOffice Voice, CommsOffice Console and CommsOffice CTI .
Daniel Morgenroth, director of Business Development for CommSoft RMS, said the company "only partners with distributors that have a proven track record of excellence in the industry".
