Microsoft partner Insentra and AWS partner Versent have combined their respective cloud expertise to offer managed services for both AWS and Microsoft.
Versent, a three-time winner of AWS’ award for best Australian consulting partner, will lead the joint venture. Insentra brings its professional and managed services to the table, along with six Microsoft Gold competencies and capabilities with Citrix, Symantec, Veritas and RedHat. Together, Versent and Insentra said they’ll provide “capabilities to the most common services required for any market.”
“Versent has a relentless focus on delivering solutions that actually work for the customer which is completely aligned with Insentra,” Insentra chief executive Ronnie Altit said.
“We’re excited to see the opportunities we can develop together, with a view to enabling Versent to deliver even more value to their customers. Our global footprint aligns with Versent’s expansion plans and our skills complement those of Versent, making us ideal partners.”
Versent chief executive Thor Essman said his company continues to be an exclusive AWS partner. “Our customers however, are increasingly seeking support from us to cross the boundaries of multi cloud IaaS (infrastructure-as-a-service) and SaaS (software-as-a-service). That is why Versent and Insentra are perfectly matched in this partnership.”
Versent’s general manager for managed services Dean Robinson added: “Our customers need more than a remote support function – they need real humans that understand their business and are a physical presence, not an unknown voice at the end of a phone or email address. Versent Managed Services (VMS) lives and breathes this approach and will now bring Insentra’s skills into that fold, that will benefit so many of our customers, especially those with a Microsoft footprint.”
Versent has made headlines already in 2019, first in March when it acquired fellow AWS partner Contexti to boost its big data skills. A month later when it was named AWS’ top consultant for the third year in a row.
Meanwhile Insentra has continued racking up big wins with work from Microsoft. The Sydney-based company also consistently ranks as one of Australia’s best places to work.
