Ingram Micro signs up Evernote to cloud marketplace

Ingram Micro has announced its first new vendor signing of the year, with Evernote joining the distributor's cloud marketplace.

Evernote is a US-based productivity software vendor best known for its note-taking app of the same name, though it also develops other cloud-based workplace software. The company boasts 225 million users worldwide.

“Together we can assist our partners and their customers to organise their ideas, workflows and projects and drive action towards their team and organisational goals,” Ingram Micro director of cloud services Lee Welch said.

“By bundling ease of procurement along with Ingram Micro’s growing suite of communication and collaboration solutions, we are making it easier for Ingram's partner network to help their customers be more productive and work collaboratively.”

Evernote senior director of partnerships Craig Klemp said that Ingram's partners would be able to cross-sell Evernote with existing integrated solutions already on offer from the distie, such as Microsoft Office 365 and DocuSign.

“Using the Evernote Business product, Ingram Micro Cloud Service Providers are able find ways to improve productivity and manage the rising influx of data by enabling their customers to collect, organize, and share information securely across individuals and teams,” Klemp said.

The two companies will hold online enablement sessions for their partners in February.
