HP has previewed its new range of Envy and Pavilion laptops that are set for launch in Australia from late this month.
The new laptops feature either Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen processors with dedicated NPUs to offer "the latest AI capabilities," HP said.
They also include HP Smart Sense, which uses AI to automatically optimise elements of the laptop like fan noise, temperature and performance.
In a first for HP, the devices include a Microsoft Copilot key that allows users to access the AI assistant for Windows with the press of a button.
The new lineup also features audio tuning by Poly with Poly Studio and an up to 5MP camera, in addition to Energy Star certification.
The new HP Envy series
The new HP Envy x360 2-in-1 laptop PC comes in two models with either a 14-inch or 16-inch screen.
They feature a high-strength aluminum design and Thunderbolt 4 ports on Intel models, with battery life of up to 17 hours.
Both models offer 16:10 screen ratio and feature keyboard and touchpad upgrades designed to increase comfort, while the optional 2.8K OLED display features an IMAX Enhanced certification.
The 14-inch model will be available from late March at HP.com and select Australian retail outlets from a recommended retail price (RRP) starting at AU$1,899.
The 16-inch model will be available via HP.com for a RRP starting at AU$2,299, with HP planning to launch at major retailers in the second half of 2024.
The new HP Pavilion 16
The new HP Pavilion 16-inch laptop offers 16:10 visuals with 10.3 per cent more vertical viewing space than the previous model, along with a larger precision touchpad and backlit keyboard.
Intel models provide optional NVIDIA graphics or an IMAX Enhanced Certified OLED display, while both Intel and AMD models offer an optional FHD IR camera.
The new Pavilion offers HP Fast Charge capability and 44 per cent more battery life than the previous model, providing as much as 19 hours of use on devices with up to an Intel Core Ultra processor.
The HP Pavilion 16 is expected to be available in April at HP.com, as well as at select major Australian retailers at a RRP starting at AU$1,699.
