NZ-headquartered Gallagher Security has won a contract valued at $11.25 million with the Australian Department of Defence.
"Defence has engaged Gallagher Security to supply security card readers and controllers that are compatible with existing Defence electronic access control arrangements," a Defence spokesperson told techpartner.news.
The contract runs through until 30 July 2026.
techpartner.news understands that the purchase of hardware from Gallagher Security will not replace an existing vendor.
Gallagher Security declined to comment.
The global company, which also has local offices in Melbourne and the Gold Coast, offers products covering software, access control hardware, perimeter hardware, high security and SMB security.
