Home automation vendor Fibaro appoints Alloys as master distributor

Internet of things vendor Fibaro has appointed Melbourne-based Alloys as its master distributor for Australia.

The deal will see Alloys carry the vendor’s building and home automation products, including the Fibaro smart home system.

We see a big market opportunity, and this partnership aim to add more value to the entire network, stabilise the supply, increase accessibility and improve the route to market” Fibaro Australasia director Johnny Corry said.

“Alloys presents the commercial competences and values to address the significant variations in how the channels expect to access, promote and supply through to the consumer.”

Poland-based Fibaro's products range from plug-and-play consumer options to complex professional installations, including sensors, intercoms, temperature adjusters, wall plugs and various switches.

“It is fantastic to expand our partnership with Fibaro. With the expanding partnership we can focus on building the brand into the channel and present a strong proposition,” Alloys chief executive Paul Harman said.
