Distributor MacGear has signed a deal to supply Dick Smith's Move stores with high-end Apple accessories from Twelve South.
Twelve South’s accessories include chargers, cases, speakers and keyboards for Apple's Watch, MacBook, iPad and iPhone product lines. MacGear will also distribute Twelve South to a number of independent retailers beginning in August.

MacGear also locked in a deal to supply robotic toy vendor Sphero into JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Tech2Go and Myer. The Sphero 2.0 is an app-enabled robot controlled via smartphone.
MacGear sales director Jeremy Sedley said: “We see continued growth in the Apple and Android accessories segments and expanding opportunities with Microsoft Surface accessories, education markets and with brands such as Sphero that occupy new categories.
“We are always on the lookout for the next big thing for our retail customers.”

MacGear has already partnered with Twelve South for a number of years in New Zealand. Dick Smith's Move Store is a concept retailer selling wearables and consumer technology with a focus on fashion.
