First Point Global has partnered with UnboundID to offer the vendor's Identity Data Platform in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
The Brisbane-based service provider will train personnel and will also act as a technical support centre of excellence. It will also join the vendor in a promotional campaign to "raise awareness" of best practice in consumer identity management.
Local design, architecture and implementation was important to the vendor, according to vice president of business development at UnboundID, Emeka Obianwu.
“UnboundID has consistently invested to maintain a very high customer success rate and we are not going to compromise that track record when we enter a new region," Obianwu said.
The UnboundID platform consolidates an organisation’s consumer or "citizen" identity data, making it available to connected services across different digital platforms. It also enforces individual permissions, preferences and privacy attributes.
UnboundID is a privately held company based in Texas.
