Nelson Soon is the new Extreme Networks channels sales director for Asia Pacific and Japan. He joins the company – which says it specialises in high performance networking from the campus to data centre, from Ixia where he was the head of sales for ANZ, Asean and Taiwan.
He has significant prior experience having also served as Channels Partner Manager at Agilent Technologies for seven years.
Extreme Networks’ senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan, Gary Newbold, says Nelson demonstrated a flair for IT implementation and channels management.
“We are very excited to have Nelson on board. I am confident that his enthusiasm backed by his experience will strengthen our relationships with the channel partners in this region,” said Newbold.
Nelson brings with him over a decade of experience in the technology and telecom sector. Nelson has a Bachelor of Engineering from The Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
