DXC scores Federal Police software services deal

DXC Australia’s infrastructure arm DXC Connect has been awarded a new contract with the Australian Federal Police (AFP).

The $1.5 million contract covers the “provision of software services”, running from September 2019 to September 2020. The agency did not disclose further details of the software involved.

An AFP spokesperson told CRN that DXC delivered the first phase solution as part of a larger project.

“This procurement was for services to enhance and scale the initial product into an enterprise wide solution,” the spokesperson said.

DXC Connect was chosen from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development’s IT Services Panel, a 299-supplier panel providing 19 different IT and telecommunication services.
