ASX-listed DroneShield has received its largest ever order, securing a $61.6 million contract package for handheld detection and counterdrone systems from a European military customer.
The three standalone follow-on contracts were awarded through the company's privately owned in-country European reseller, which is contractually required to distribute the products to the European military customer.
While the Sydney-based company did not name the in-country reseller or the final military customer, DroneShield's chief executive Oleg Vornik said on LinkedIn that the latter is "NATO-aligned".
DroneShield develops and manufactures electronic warfare and counterdrone technology systems designed to detect, track, and neutralise unauthorised drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles.
The latest contract represents the biggest single order in DroneShield's history and exceeds the company's entire revenue for 2024, which totalled $57.5 million.
The order includes handheld detection and counterdrone systems along with associated accessories, with DroneShield expecting to deliver all equipment throughout the third quarter of 2025.
DroneShield's recent production and inventory holding expansion means the order is expected to be fully delivered within the quarter.
The company had previously received a single contract from this reseller for the same customer in April 2024 totalling approximately $500,000.
"In succession to the $32.3 million repeat order announced on 14 April 2025 for another customer, DroneShield products are now being purchased in material quantities," Vornik said.
"The scale and frequency of orders has been increasing as leading military customers are moving from testing hardware to broader rollouts."
DroneShield's technology portfolio includes portable and fixed-site detection systems, radio frequency jammers, and integrated counterdrone platforms designed for military, government, and critical infrastructure applications.
