Distributor Infraserve signs second cloud partner

Infraserve Managed Services has signed a distribution agreement with UK based IT services provider ThinkGrid.

ThinkGrid joins Seccom Global as a partner of the cloud focused distributor, which launched in July.

The companies claimed the partnership will provide a billing and provisioning platform and IT services that include hosted virtual desktops, Exchange and Communications, VoIP, software-as-a-service, virtual server infrastructure and storage.

Rob Lovell, ThinkGrid's chief executive, said businesses often "underestimate the sheer scale of investment" needed to build and run cloud computing infrastructures.

"The billing and provisioning engine ensures customers can flick a switch, scale up or down services and pay for them as needed.

"This is why we're extremely pleased to be working with Infraserve to deliver a truly partner-centric model that helps resellers transform their business to meet the unique demands of cloud computing."

Roy Pater, managing director at Infraserve, said, "Australia's IT market is a fertile ground for cloud computing services".

"Australia has some of the most geographically dispersed communities and businesses in the world," he said.

ThinkGrid's master distributor remains Vadis Systems.
