Digital61 expands cybersecurity portfolio

Cloud-first systems and security integrator Digital61 has expanded its cybersecurity portfolio with the launch of Secure Cloud Gateway (Modern SIG) and Continuous Assurance services.

Digital61’s Secure Cloud Gateway (Modern SIG) provides a cloud-first solution that the company describes as "safeguarding internet traffic, defending against evolving cyber threats, and optimising secure access to modern applications".

The service also ensures compliance with government standards.

Digital61’s new Continuous Assurance delivers ongoing monitoring and evidence validation against frameworks such as the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Information Security Manual (ISM), and the Essential Eight.

“Today’s announcement reflects our commitment to building sovereign cyber resilience for government and industry,” said Sunny Bhatia, chief information and digital officer at Digital61.

“Secure Cloud Gateway and Continuous Assurance are natural extensions of our SOC-as-a-Service and VelocityOps Framework, giving our customers the confidence to innovate securely while meeting compliance obligations.”

Digital61's Managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) recently received IRAP PROTECTED Level Assessment for handling sensitive government and corporate data.

Earlier in the year, Digital61 was chosen to create a secure and scalable IT infrastructure for Australia's newly established Net Zero Economy Agency.
