Dicker Data has extended its distribution agreement with Dell to include the vendor's full catalogue in Australia.
Dicker Data first became a Dell distributor in 2014 after acquiring Express Data. The company previously held the rights to Dell thin clients and monitors, but today's announcement sees it add notebooks, PCs, workstations, servers, storage and networking products to its channel.
"We’re pleased to be announcing our new distribution rights to the Dell product portfolio. The Dell range completes our line-up of global tier-one vendors and enables us to provide our partners with more choice than ever before," Dicker Data chairman and chief executive David Dicker said.
Dicker joins Avnet - which earnt the full Dell portfolio in April - and Ingram Micro, the first to achieve the feat in May 2015, when it added end user computing to its previous enterprise remit.
"It's a particularly good time to be partnering with Dell given their increased channel focus," said Dicker.
Dell Australia channels and alliances general manager Geoff Wright said the new agreement would expand the vendor's channel and praised Dicker Data's expertise in the channel.
"The expansion of our relationship will help the knowledgeable team at Dicker Data achieve their business goals and growth which in turn helps Dell achieve its goal to continue accelerating partner expansion and growth," he said.
"The extension of our agreement with Dicker Data will further enable it to succeed in our partnership but also ensures its customers are given choice and rapid availability when considering the right solution."
