CyberCX has become the second Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner in the Asia Pacific region to achieve the AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency.
The AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency indicates CyberCX’s “proven technical expertise and a record of customer success in securing control and authority over data and cloud infrastructure”, CyberCX stated.
This includes managing data residency, access, resilience, survivability, and "self-sufficiency” in the digital space.
CyberCX is one of 18 AWS partners globally to achieve the AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency, it stated.
“The upcoming launch of the New Zealand AWS Regions,” stated John Taylor, CyberCX Executive Director of AWS, Cloud Security, and Solutions,” along with AWS’s continued growth in Australia, means that there has never been a more important time for our customers to partner with a specialised team on their cloud sovereignty and security journey.”
In October 2024, CyberCX added to its leadership team in New Zealand, including promoting Tom Khangura to director of cloud sales, tasking him with enhancing CyberCX New Zealand's strategy for sovereign secure cloud change and continuous compliance.
