Western Australian IT services provider Ever Nimble has appointed Paul Walters to lead its expansion into Queensland, as part of the Perth-headquartered company's national growth strategy.
Walters joins from Queensland managed service provider (MSP) Mercury IT, where he served as operations manager.
He currently chairs positions on both the Australian Computer Society and Southern Cross University's Faculty of Science and Engineering Information Technology Advisory Group.
"Paul has an excellent reputation in the industry and is highly regarded for the work he does in his advisory roles," said Chris Morrissey, chief executive and managing director of Ever Nimble.
The company plans to create new cyber security and IT support roles in Queensland in the coming months, adding to its existing presence in Perth, Melbourne, and international offices in Swansea, UK, and Calgary, Canada.
"Our aim is to be Australia's leader in cyber security and IT support for small to medium business," Morrissey said.
Ever Nimble, which provides both managed IT and security services, has achieved significant industry recognition, ranking 19th in the 2024 CRN Fast50 and winning Kaseya MSP of the Year in 2023.
