Distribution Central managing director Nick Verykios was named IT Executive of the Year at the 2013 CEO Magazine Executive of the Year Awards at the end of 2013. This latest recognition capped off a winning streak for Distribution Central, which is celebrating its first decade of operation.
In November, DC chief executive Scott Frew received special recognition as the Pearcy Foun-dation’s NSW 2013 ICT Entrepreneur of the Year, for “taking a risk and making a difference to the Australian ICT industry.”
And BRW ranked the company 31st in its 2013 BRW 50 Best Places to Work – the fifth consecutive year DC has made the top 50.
“We’ve experienced incredible growth in our 10 years of operation at DC, and received a raft of business and industry accolades for the business. While we’ve both had colourful careers to date, these recent individual accolades are a testament to our contribution and success as entrepreneurs, which is personally significant to us,” said Frew who made special mention of the team which has helped make he and Verykios successful.
