Blackbook AI has appointed David Emery as MD of consulting, as the Brisbane-headquartered firm looks to meet growing client demand for measurable returns on AI and automation investments.
Emery will lead Blackbook AI's consulting practice, working with enterprise and public sector organisations to convert spending on AI, automation, data and digital technology into operational, commercial and strategic outcomes.
Emery brings more than two decades of experience in technology consulting, business transformation and executive leadership. Most recently he advised private equity investors, founders and executive teams on investment readiness, growth strategy and operational transformation, including the likes of Nexon Asia Pacific and Adamantem Capital.
Prior to that advisory work, he held senior roles at Servian and, following its acquisition, at Cognizant - serving as national managing partner and executive board member of Servian, then as managing director and head of Cognizant Servian through the post-acquisition integration, before being appointed head of technology consulting APJ.
