Belinda Jurisic has taken on the head of channel sales role at Veeam Software, less than a month after resigning from Citrix.
Jurisic will lead Australian and New Zealand partners and be in charge of executing Veeam's local channel sales strategy driving growth in the ProPartner program.
"This is an extraordinary opportunity to be asked to lead the ANZ channel business and to maximise the strong growth opportunities for Veeam and our channel partners," Jurisic said.
"I work best in a collaborative team environment where the goal is to build a mutually profitable channel. I’m also excited to help drive the growth opportunity for Veeam in the enterprise market. This will be a core focus of my new role."
CRN revealed Jurisic had resigned from Citrix on 8 March, after almost four years leading the company's channel partners.
She will work with a network of more than 2000 resellers and distributors to help ensure Veeam’s ProPartners are able to provide availability solutions to their customers.
Jurisic has more than 15 years of experience in channel partner management. She previously spent 11 years at HP where she held several senior roles. She is also member of the executive council for CompTIA.
Veeam vice president for ANZ Don Williams said: "In 2016, we grew our partner network to more than 45,000 ProPartners worldwide. As a channel-centric business, partnerships are critical in helping Veeam provide best-of-breed availability solutions to our customers as they prepare to embark on their digital transformation journey.
"Belinda’s industry leadership and depth of experience will strengthen our channel partnerships and help our customers take advantage of the only availability platform supporting hybrid cloud environments."
Jurisic replaces Amaury Dutilleul-Francoeur, who will move to a broader regional role expanding the Veeam presence across Asia-Pacific and Japan.
