Belinda Jurisic resigned as Citrix's Australian and New Zealand channel sales manager on 3 March after nearly four years with the software vendor.
Jurisic, who will remain with the company for at least a month while Citrix finds her replacement, told CRN: “I decided this was the time to look for the next challenge.”
Enquiries are now being forwarded to Michael Pidcock, Citrix's channel development for service providers.
“The time is right, the company is going through planning and I decided to step aside and let the next person to take part on planning,” Jurisic said.
Jurisic was interviewed in last month's issue of CRN magazine, when she discussed her time at Citrix and the growth of the company's service provider program. “The challenge is making sure that I stay on top of what is happening in the market, stay on top of where our channel partners are trying to take their business, what is important to them and where they are making money.”
She also revealed that Citrix was intending to introduce an Asia-Pacific and Japan partner summit this year in late April, the first of its kind in the region.
Jurisic previously spent 11 years at HP where she held several senior roles. She is a member of the executive council for CompTIA.
A Citrix spokesperson thanked Jurisic for leading the company's channel development for Australia and New Zealand.
“Citrix would like to thank Belinda for her contributions to the business over the last three years. Citrix is actively backfilling the role as it is a critical platform to Citrix Australia and New Zealand's success and growth.
“Citrix remains committed to our partners and the ANZ market and will ensure a smooth transition, working closely with our customers and partners to ensure there is no impact to the business," the spokesperson said.
