BAE Systems Applied Intelligence has appointed Rajiv Shah as its general manager for ANZ.

“Rajiv’s technical expertise combined with his experience in senior management and leadership roles means he is well-placed to support the continued growth of our Australia business," said BAE Systems Applied Intelligence managing director Kevin Taylor.

Shah has been with BAE Systems Applied Intelligence for over 16 years, most recently as head of communications, data and security solutions for Australia.

He has also held numerous roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence in the US, UK and Australia since 1996.

The internal promotion was made to grow the business in BAE Systems Applied Intelligence's key areas: government, financial, telecommunications and energy sectors, according to a statement from the vendor.
