Avnet Technology Solutions has signed a distribution deal for Asus motherboards and graphic cards in Australia, overseeing a variety of Intel, AMD and NVIDIA-based components.
Avnet Global Computing Components (AGCC) will market and distribute the components. It will also support Asus with go-to market strategy.
Asus Australian managing director Mia Tsai said: "Avnet understands the Australian market and we look forward to seeing Asus grow through acceleration of time to market and gaining a competitive advantage."
Mohit Jain, senior director of AGCC in the Asia Pacific, said: "Being able to distribute the Asus range of motherboard and graphics card products in Australia, Avnet will ensure that we link our business partners to the right Asus solutions. Avnet is proud of the partnership we have with Asus and looks forward to extending the relationship into new markets."
Avnet Technology Solutions generated US$10.36 billion in revenue for 2013.
