ASIC clears WiseTech, Richard White after trading and governance investigations

WiseTech Global has been cleared by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) following two separate investigations - one into alleged share trading and another into the company's governance.

The regulator issued no-action letters to the listed logistics software company, its founder Richard White and two other employees.

ASIC informed WiseTech that it has concluded its investigation into alleged trading in WiseTech shares in respect of White and two current employees, and that it will not take any enforcement action against them. The investigation was first disclosed by the company on 28 October 2025.

ASIC indicated that an investigation into the alleged trading remains ongoing in respect of one other individual who is not a WiseTech employee.

Separately, ASIC also concluded a governance investigation that commenced in late 2024, issuing a no-action letter to WiseTech confirming it does not intend to take enforcement action in relation to that matter either.
