Aon appoints Quinton Kotze as cyber solutions head for Australia

Global professional services firm Aon has appointed Quinton Kotze as its head of cyber solutions for Australia.

Based in Sydney, Kotze will lead Aon’s cyber solutions capability in Australia, with a focus on shaping and advancing the firm’s cyber risk strategy in close alignment with its global cyber practice.

He will report to Alistair Clarke, head of specialty for Australia.

Kotze joins Aon from Chubb, where he most recently served as digital domain lead and financial lines product manager for Asia. He has held senior cyber and financial lines leadership roles across Australia and the region and brings close to 20 years’ experience across the financial lines sector, including earlier roles at AIG and Marsh.

“Cyber risk is a critical area of focus for our clients, and this appointment reflects our continued investment in strengthening our cyber capabilities in Australia,” said Clarke.
