Audio-visual solutions distributor Ambertech has released its unaudited results for the full year ending 30 June 2025 (FY25), reporting that the 2H FY25 revenue is expected to be in excess of $54 million (1H FY25: $45.5m), marking a significant improvement from the softer performance experienced in the first half.

Full FY25 revenue is expected to be in excess of $100 million (FY24: $95.5m), while 2H FY25 EBITDA margin is set to materially exceed the 1H FY25 EBITDA margin of 2.4%.

Ambertech said an improved 2H FY25 sales performance was driven by the delivery of several key projects in the Media Systems and Defence, Law Enforcement and Security (DLES) segments, coupled with continued strong trading in major retail and commercial dealer networks.

Ambertech also said that the DLES segment continues to experience increasing demand given Defence spending tailwinds.

Ambertech MD Peter Amos said several key projects that were delayed earlier in the year have now reached completion, contributing meaningfully to the company's overall results.

"Equally we observed increased demand and momentum across several of our other product segments," he said.

“Pleasingly, our strong financial performance underscores the diversification and resilience of our product offering, even as certain market segments, particularly musical instruments and specialist HiFi equipment continue to face headwinds from persistent inflationary pressures affecting consumer spending.

"Despite this, we remain confident in the long-term fundamentals of these segments and expect a return to growth over the medium term.

"We continue to see new opportunities, both with existing and new customers, providing a heightened level of confidence in the medium and longer-term value proposition of Ambertech.”

Full year results are expected to be released on or around Monday, 25 August 2025.

In 2023, Ambertech acquired Sydney-based Convoy International’s distribution business.
