NSW-based distributor, Alepine Peripherals has added Tablo to its peripherals portfolio.
Tablo for the laptop is a pen input device performing tablet function.
The device has a sensor which sits on the top of the LCD screen of a notebook, that converts notebooks into tablet PCs.
It supports tablet compatibility with Microsoft Windows XP and Vista and provides handwriting, drawing, sketching and illustration with a simple touch.
The products also comes with a digital pen, which has a teflon tip, which can be used on LCD screens.
The pen mouse can be used for Microsoft Windows Live messenger, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Journal Note, Sticky Note and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF, and many other programs where a mouse is normally used.
Eugene Chan, director of Alepine Peripherals said Tablo is Microsoft VISTA certified, which means it can utilise Vista's Tablet function natively.
"Small business and executives can utilise the Tablo to sign documents, modify documents/proposals without printing," he said.
"Resellers can make up to 33 percent from the suggested retail price of $319."
As of April, Alepine became the sole distributor for the product in Australia.
Chans said the product comes with a 12 month warranty
