AI rebate firm Enable buys Auckland pricing specialist Flintfox

Technology company Enable has acquired Auckland's pricing engine specialist Flintfox in a move to transform business-to-business trading relationships.

The deal brings together Enable's artificial intelligence-powered rebate management with Flintfox's pricing capabilities.

"Enable and Flintfox share a vision of helping businesses achieve smarter, more profitable trading strategies," John Moss, chief executive of Flintfox said.

The acquisition adds more than 90 Flintfox employees to Enable's workforce and establishes New Zealand as the company's fifth global hub.

Enable now counts more than 120 employees across three offices in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2022, Enable set up shop in Sydney, targetting the Asia-Pacific region.

The merger aims to help organisations align their rebate incentives with pricing adjustments to strengthen trading relationships.

Combined, the platform promises to unite on-invoice and off-invoice strategies for better profitability.

Enable's platform uses AI to help manufacturers, distributors and retailers transform rebates into growth opportunities.

"Innovation has always been at the core of Enable, and this acquisition allows us to accelerate that," Andrew Butt, founder and chief executive of Enable said.

Flintfox brings its expertise in managing complex pricing, rebates and settlements to the partnership.

"Together, we aim to set a new industry standard for optimising profitability and cultivating lasting trading relationships," Moss said.
