Lenovo last night held a gala event at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney to award its top-performing business partners of 2012.
Synnex CEO Kee Ong accepted the award for Lenovo distributor of the year, given for achieving over 115 percent growth year on year and reaching each quarter's targets.
Datacom director Todd Gorsuch accepted the award for Australian partner of the year. Lenovo said Datacom had re-aligned its business away from a "dependency on one of Lenovo’s major competitors" and increased Lenovo sales.
Stott & Hoare took out most pioneering partner of the year. Lenovo said the company's emphasis on vertical industry solutions, specifically SMBs, had allowed its Lenovo business to grow over 135 percent year on year.
New Zealand partner of the year was awarded to PB Technologies. Lenovo said the company had increased brand awareness in NZ as well as over achieving on quarterly targets.
Advance Vision Technology was awarded new partner of the year, due to growth of 200 percent in Lenovo sales year on year.
