The Harvey Norman website is offline. Initially the site posted a message to customers suggesting traffic overload is to blame. "Wow, we're totally maxed out at this very moment."
This has subsequently been updated to say it is down for maintenance.
The site has been down for at least 30 minutes, and as of yet the company has not posted any updates to either its Facebook page or its Twitter feed explaining the outage, although it has responded to a customer query acknowledging the problem.
CRN has contacted Harvey Norman and will update the story once the retailer provides a response.
